Using your notes from yesterday’s class, you are to create a 9 weeks review guide as a WORD DOCUMENT. Save the document in your student folder and in my folder. MAKE sure you save your document in my folder and in the correct class folder that I have created for you. Also, move your presentations to your class folder TODAY.  Then print out a copy of your finished 9 weeks study guide to study by. Bring it to your class on Monday. I think the Mexican Holiday Dia de los muertos is really cool because it is a way of honoring your deceased loved ones. As such, the Day of the dead carries meaning and commemoration for ones ancestors. Additionally, the holiday pokes fun at death in a mysterious and unique way. What do you like about the Mexican holiday?

Welcome to one of Haleyville High School’s first blogs (Bishop Blog). This blog is an attempt at learning more about blogging and improving academics at Haleyville High School through blogging. So you can say that this is a test blog of sorts. Why have a test blog? At HHS we actively utilize and promote technology to inspire and promote learning for the 21st century and beyond. Hence, after testing this blog with my Spanish classes, I hope to get teachers and students involved in the blogging process. Also, I have set up a private ”WIKI” to acompany this blog. The wiki is private because only HHS students and faculty members will have access to it. This is a safety precaution due to the limited control of wiki’s. If you don’t have a clue as to what a blog or a wiki is check out my page on blogs and wiki’s. Isn’t technology cool?
