Don Quioxte is about a man who is metally disturbed. He imagines things that in reality are not true. He sees dragons, giants, castle, armies, and many more things. This movie is very interesting.

Don Quixote was a great story, I really enjoyed watching the movie the past few days. It is about a half wits man who sets of with a peasant named Sancho Panza in order to save his lady Dulcinea. It was very funny when he was attacking windmills that he beileved to be giants, but the last half was sad when the people in the castle were poking fun at him. He eventually came to his wits and died shortly afterwards. This was an excellent story, I enjoyed studying it and i will most likely read the book.

I thought the movie was great! It was a nice change! I was fun to watch Don’s imaginary journey through Knighthood

  • 5    rssalter // Feb 9, 2007 at 11:11 am

Don Quixote is about a man, Alonzo, that thinks he is a knight, Don Quixote, in his own world. Throughout the movie, he fight people and even things in the name of his beloved Dulcinea. His family in real life worry about his well being and wish that he would realize that he is not a knight. I thought that Don Quixote was a good movie. It was hard to follow at times, but other than that, it was really good.

The movie about Don Quxiote is a real good movie. I enjoyed watching the movie because i’ve always wished I could have a good imagination just like Don Quxiote.

I thought today was fun getting to write about what we learned on Don Quixote. To me watching Don Quixote was funner than doing work.

The story of Don Quixote is somewhat odd to me. I don’t exactly understand why author wrote a novel like this. Is it a comedy? Or does it have a different message?

I enjoyed writing about Don Quixote. It was fun and I liked the movie. It was interesting.

Don Quixote was a story of a man, who went insane from reading romance novels. So, he went on a journey with his sidekick Sancho to free his Lady Dulsenia. He saw reality different from other people. He saw an imaginary world.

i think it is a great story, it shows you that sometimes fiction is more true than fact.

Don Quixote is a story about a crazed man that has weired allusions and goes on great adventures. at teh end of the stroy he dies of not having his dreams because his family had to burn his books because that is what caused the problem.

  • 14    anbenefield // Feb 9, 2007 at 11:52 am

Don Quixote is a book about a man who is trapped in the stories of knight-errants. He takes along a man as a squire named Sancho. He also comes up with his imaganiry ladylove named Delcinea del Toboso. In the end he comes back to reality and dies cause he can’t live without his dreams. I loved the story of Don Quixote it is funny and then it gets sad. But it was a very good story.

    Don Quixote

Don Quixote is a movie/book about a man in his 60-70’s that remembers that in his childhood that he loved to be a knight. So he went to his basement and found some old junk that he used to be a knight when he was little. After he found it, he went and asked his best friend Satcho if he wanted to go on a quest with him.

Don Quixote also promised him an island to govern. So he got the innkeeper to knight him. So, he and Satcho went on their journey. When they were on their way Don Quixote saw a lady on their way and he named her Dulcinea.

So Don Quixote got on horse Rocinante and Satcho got on his donkey Dapple and they were off on their journey. They came up on some windmills, and as imaginative Don Quixote is, he thought they were giants and he rode toward them and started fighting the windmills, he lost. Later they came upon a village where short people ran it, so they sat down and ate at the village and were treated like royalty, until Don Quixote got into a predicament with the village citizens and they got into a fight an he and Satcho got thrown out.

Also on the adventure they ran into some goats and Don Quixote thought they were armies about to fight, and he also freed a whole chain gang of criminals because he thought they were innocent. He got in his first jousting match with a knight that he met in the field. He ended up winning the jousting match by knocking the knight off on his first try.

At the end of the story Don Quixote got in a jousting match with another knight, which ended up being Don Quixote’s last match. He ended up losing against the knight, and at the end of story you find out that the squire and the knight was people who lived in his house, short time after, Don Quixote died from depression and having his dreams destroyed.

Today we wrote a report about Don Quixote. I think that he is a crazy man, even though his life was very boring. It is a good thing that he has such a big imigination!

  • 18    dwhiteside // Feb 9, 2007 at 1:01 pm

Don Quixote is a funny, adventorous and lessing learning movie. We had to write an essay on it. I loved the movie.

  • 19    adstephenson // Feb 9, 2007 at 1:03 pm

Don Quixote is about a man who still lives kinda in his childhood past. He pretends he is a knight and uses the name Don Quixote instead of his real name which was Alonzo. The movie is really interesting to me because it showed me that some people wish they could make the world their own and also showed me how some want to live their lives. I didn’t like the ending to much because it showed that since the world couldn’t be like he wanted, he didn’t want to live in it so, he died. I also think that this movie was somewhat comical but, also that everyone has dreams and some imagine them longer than others.

This is a story about an old man who thinks he is a knight. He wants to go on a journey where he can get knighted by a king. On his journey he takes along a squire named Sancho. On his journey he will fight giants (which are windmills.), save people who are in trouble and he soon figures out that you can not dream forever. I really think this is a good story and would love to learn more about Don Quixote de la mancha.

  • 22    mnhamby // Feb 9, 2007 at 1:05 pm

What i got out of it was Don had too much time on his hands. So he had a big imagination and he made a very crazy imagination. It was a verygood movie though.

  • 23    rcforester // Feb 9, 2007 at 1:06 pm

Alonso Quejana was an ordinary Spanish country gentleman, except in one particular: he was addicted to books about knights and guards. He spent every moment being into the books, meandering tomes filled with tales of knights and squires magicians and giants, and beautiful ladies. I hoght this story was pretty interesting but i had better. but I thought it was interesting

  • 24    japipkins // Feb 9, 2007 at 1:09 pm

Don Quixote wan a crazy old man who had fall HARD off his rocker. He had an overactive imagination and was pretty lonly. He imagined windmills were giants and sheep were soldiers. He sought out to find his fair lady Delsaneir and finaly does at the end but then dies.

  • 25    kmobley // Feb 9, 2007 at 1:13 pm

We have learned about a man who is crazy and falls into his books of knight hood. Don Quixote or Alonso encounters many make believe giants, a wizard, and kingdoms. He believes that they are all real and he will not give up until one man named knight of the white moon wanted a duel. Don was forced to go home and forget everything he had known, after the lose of the duel.

I seriously liked the movie but i would not want to watch it again because it is so sad and funny. I don’t think there needs to have a sad comedy. But that is just me.

  • 26    tdobbs // Feb 9, 2007 at 1:13 pm

Don Quixotes is a crazy fellow that goes on a journey to help the helpless and defeat the wicked. Don Quixote bring along his squire, Sancho Panza, on his journey. He goes on this adventure, releasing prisoners, mistaking armies for sheep, and fighting a magician that he thinks is a dark wizard. Don Quixote is brought back home at the end and dies peacefully and happily, surrounded by family and friends.

Don Quixote is a man that went crazy after reading many books about knights. He and his squire, Sancho Panza, went on an adventure defeating wickeness. Throughout his journey he imagines things for something they are not. At the end he is brought back by family and friends and dies peacefully. I liked the story and thought it was funny.

  • 28    ANBrown // Feb 9, 2007 at 1:15 pm

This past week we have watched a movie on Don Quixote. It is about an older man that has lost his mind and he thinks that he is a knight. He goes on many adventures and encounters many different things. On one adventure he comes along some windmills and thinks they are giants. He also thinks that a rundown inn is a castle. And the reason for all of his dreams is he had a large library and he read all of these books about knights. After all of his adventures his family fianlly comes and finds him and brings him home. They burn all of his books and close off his library for good.
After they think all of his adventures are over he sets off on another one. After all of his adventures he finally has to give it up. But Don Quixote would rather die than give up his dreams.

Don Quixote is a normal guy how goes crazy and sees things that arent there. He fights giants, wizards, entire armies, he also sets a free a group of prisoners, he is humiliated and ridiculed, but the final blow is when he loses a duel and is forced to return home to live a normal life.

    Don Quixote

Don Quixote is a book, over 500 years old, about a man who read too many books so his brain finally dried up. He no longer has his sense of reality. He decides he is going to put on his armor, take his sword, his squire, and his horse, and go set right all the wrongs in his personal imaginary world.

The first thing he comes across is some wind mills. He is so insane that to him they are giants. He charges the “giants” but gets knocked off of his horse. He begins to talk about a golden helmet that was stolen from a king. Then he meets a traveling dentist that uses a metal pan to catch the teeth he pulls, but he also wears it as a hat; as the sun shines off of the pan into Don Quixote’s eyes, he believes this is the golden helmet he has been looking for. Much to the dentist’s surprise Don Quixote charges him yelling traitor as the dentist tries to get away his hat falls off and Don Quixote get his first victory.

Don Quixote also meets some Spanish officers transporting convicts one by one Don Quixote asks them what they did and they come back with a witty remark. There answers for example: “ I fell in love”, “ I sang like a canary bird”; make them sound innocent. Don Quixote decides to free them he wins his second victory but then the prisoners turn on him and cause him to retreat from a battle. In his travels Don Quixote also meets some people who convince him to do things just so they can laugh. One couple convince him and his squire that the only way to free his love his to fly into the sky. They climb on to the back of the horse that was supposedly created by a skilled magician. Then they are blind folded the wooden “flying” horse is rocked back and forth and they start blowing wind at them to make them feel like they are moving and then walk around them with torches to make them feel as though they flying close to the sun.

Finally Don Quixote is challenged to duel but if he loses he must go home and act as though nothing ever happened and he is just a normal person. In a valiant effort Don Quixote loses the duel, he goes home puts up his armor and does what he agreed to. In the end he ends up dieing a sad old normal man.

    Don Quixote
Don Quixote is a book and a movie. They said that the book is over 500 years old. Don Quixote is a crazy old man who has a very big imagination. Don Quixote reads a lot of books that are fiction. And in the books he puts himself in the place of a knight. Then he goes on these adventures with Sancho. They go on long journeys that to different places. And when he goes on these adventures he sees things that are different from what they really are.

Don Quixote de la mancha and Sancho go on an adventure and when they go they come upon windmills, and when they get there Don Quixote de la mancha thinks that the windmills are giants. But when he charges at them he starts to fight until he sees a evil magician and his sword got stuck in the windmill and he went up then the sword broke and he fell. Then later on in the adventure Don Quixote de la mancha and Sancho go to an inn. And Don Quixote thinks the inn is a castle. So he thinks he can stay there for free. Then later on that night he is washing his shield and some guys come in and throw his shield and armor out of the water and he puts it back in there and they keep on throwing it out so then he got mad and hit one of them and that started a big rumble and Don Quixote won it to. The innkeeper knighted him then. Late on they go to a field to rest. Then a herd of sheep come along and Don Quixote thinks that they are King and his people. And then there are another herd coming the other way and he thinks that is another King and his people so he, takes one side and he then tries to beat the sheep up. After that they keep on riding and they come up on some convicts. Well he thinks that the convicts are good people and he thinks that they should be freed so he frees them and when he frees them they turn on him and starts beating him up. After that he goes and he meets a lot of other interesting people and some of them make fun of him so then he goes back home after he gets knocked off his horse and he dies that is what happened to Don Quixote de la mancha.

Don Quixote is crazy and sees things but the story is really cool because it takes alfonsos imagination to a new level and everyone plays along with it.

Don Quixote is the movie that we have been watching in Spanish this week. Don Quixote is really Alonzo, and this man is metally ill, and sees the world how he wants to see it. I personally really did not like this movie because it convuses me because the movie changes in worlds(from metally ill minds to the real world).

Today we typed a report about Don Quixote. It was a very good but confusing movie. He is Mentally Ill and thinks he is a knight from the past. He goes on many adventures and fights the knight of the white moon and looses. He realizes he is Alanzo and dies in peace. I enjoyed the movie.

I really liked the movie Don Quixote. I thought it was rather funny and was very interesting. The movie was about a man who thought he was Don Quixote fighting for his lady, he really liked to read and that’s where he got all of his ideas. In order to cure him, his niece asks her boyfriend to help her and he gets Alonzo to give up his adventures, along with his squire Sancho. In the end, his squire finds his imaginary lady to fulfill his “journey”, he then dies peacefully.

  • 47    jtrowe // Feb 9, 2007 at 2:56 pm

Don Quixote was mentally retarded. He would see things that were actually something else. For example, he thought that windmills were giants with swords. I did not like this movie.

Don Quixote is about a crazy old man and his friend who go on an adventure together. Don Quixote and Sancho Panza (his squire) go on an adventure and fight off all kinds of monsters and evils that Don Quixote imagines. They fight giants which are actually windmills, go to stay at inns that Don Quixote imagines are castles, and fight all sorts of knights in the name of Dulcinea (Don Quixote’s true love who is actually a common girl). Eventually, someone makes him realize that he was just dreaming, and he goes home. This was a really funny movie, and I enjoyed watching it.
