I am looking forward to a great year. This year we will have students joining us via our new IVC lab during my 7th period class. They are from two high schools on the other side of the state. We should have all of the bugs worked out in the lab by the end of the week. As for my local classes, I hope you all like our new textbooks. I am very excited about them. I am also excited about the Renaissance process. We hope to do a lot of excellent things for the student body through the program. I have established a Haleyville Renaissance Blog to help promote the process and to share our program with others via the internet.  The URL is http://haleyvillerenaissance.blogspot.com Check it out and tell me what you think!

Also, we will be using Classroom2.0 technologies when we can fit them in to our schedule.  Our blog is of course here and our wiki is located at http://www.bishopblogs.wikispaces.com. You can access our HHS Library media wiki by using the links here or at our wiki.  My students at HHS will also use moodle at some point in time and if our new IT staff gets moodle loaded on the Internet server my students in the IVC course will most likely use it too. Isn’t technology great!I am looking forward to a great school year and I hope to be able to help you along the way. If you need my help for whatever reason feel free to come by and see me at anytime. As for my IVC students the same thing goes. Well, you can’t drive across the state just to see me, but you can have your facilitator contact me or you can use D2L to contact me.
